2 weeks agoThis little hidden jem is a must visit even if you don't live near by it's so worth the trip. My husband and I stopped in last minute for something to eat last night I got the sloppy Joe with fries (real fries) and he got the roast beef sandwich with fries. Amazing. I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast, and lunch they also run specials through out the month. Stop and give them a try.

a month agoFood was decent but as pricey as other restaurants nowadays which is to.be expected $10-14 for most exoensive meals. Decor is all over the place.. #1 problem is the atmosphere because it was a small pizza place with an open kitchen which is very noisy. But can't control that. Perhaps maybe think about closing that in more in the future. Waiters should not be wearing t shirts, very short swimmer type shorts and moccasin sandals. I do not want to see the thigh hair of my waiter. This isn't Hooters and does not reflect a " diner" atmoshpere. The pictures of patrons is a good idea but would be much nicer if in one collage and not all over all of the walls. Be cool if the place had old time pictues of Tyrone everywhere and would also help if there was one paint job..for a tiny place its a work in progress though. You will not have a private conversation here because of the size and because of this over heard another patron telling the owner part of their meal was rancid. Staff was pretty friendly even though the kid messed my order up. They fired a very good waitress for some reason about 6-7 months back for some reason..sad to see her go. She was not fired for her attire as the owner replied.. Unsure why she was let go. Want to see the place continue to make small changes and it could continue to grow and do well.

2 months agoJamie's Diner is a small place with traditional breakfast foods along with lunch and dinner. The service is good although sometimes a little understaffed. The staff and owner are very caring and friendly and there is a "regular" clientele that goes there that makes the place have a home like atmosphere. They have generous portions and are always ready to fill your cup when your coffee gets a little low. Eating there is an enjoyable and affordable experience. If you're looking for a no frills homey place with good food that doesn't break the bank, Jamie's Diner is a great choice.

2 months agoThis was a cute little spot, the food was ok. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but if I was in the area id stop again. The stuffed French toast was OK. Meat was OK. Coffee was OK.

3 months agoExaclty what I was expecting. Solid place to grab breakfast. My only feedback is this: id like to hear some old timey music playing since its a smaller place to add a feeling of privacy to conversations, and maybe smaller portions at like .50$ less. Food was by no means too expensive let me add. We would go again.

3 months agoJamie’s Diner in Tyrone, PA, is to be commended on their variety of menu options at an affordable price. Likewise, their staff is receptive, responsive, and resourceful! Moreover, the portions were great, and above all, Jamie’s Diner goes beyond meeting sanitation standards in the food industry. If I were to state the obvious: excellent environment, friendly service, and great menu choices at affordable prices. I highly endorse Jamie’s Diner as “the go to place” for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! 5 STARS!

8 months agoIf you want fast food go somewhere else. If you want a meal made with love stop here. Ricky was are server. We where just driving through. The locals are happy to talk to you and help with any questions. The service was amazing. The food a 10 out of 10. Wife and I both decided on the Mike omelet and stuffed French toast. I had blueberry she had strawberry. More then enough food to take with us. Large portions great price. Value is unbeatable.

10 months agoNestled in what seems like an unassuming spot, this diner, established on May 1st, 2025, immediately piqued my interest after a quick glance at its Google reviews. Seeking a hearty, classic American breakfast, we decided to give it a try. The menu is efficiently laid out, and the pricing is surprisingly nostalgic. I was particularly drawn to the remarkably affordable breakfast option: two scrambled eggs with cheese and two slices of uncut toast for a mere three dollars ! Opting for this incredible deal, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. While the eggs could have been fluffier, they possessed a delightful grilled texture that I appreciated. However, the true star of the plate was the toast. The perfect grill marks and the seamless spread of melted butter elevated it to an unexpected highlight of the meal. My OG chose the Mushroom Omelette, which also impressed with its perfectly cooked eggs, fresh mushrooms, and well-prepared home fries. The only minor drawback was the lack of seasoning on the home fries; a pre-emptive seasoning could enhance the overall flavor profile. Despite a slightly longer wait time of 15 to 20 minutes, understandable given the small number of orders and the pursuit of perfection, the diner's dedication to customer service and quality cuisine is evident. The waitresses were attentive and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The interior decor, however, could benefit from some refinement. The current trinkets and decorations, while perhaps intended to be charming, come off as somewhat childish and unappetizing. With a few minor renovations and a more cohesive aesthetic, this diner has the potential to become a true culinary destination. For now, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, classic American breakfast at an unbeatable price.
